Bullet Journal as originated by Ryder Carroll has helped a lot! I keep it pretty simple and change it as I see fit. Journaling in this way helps me focus on what is important to me, gives me tools to restart when I’ve let life’s overwhelm creep in, and gives me a place to keep track of collections — books I’m reading, online courses and their schedules to check off, and any other bunch of stuff I may want to look up later. The index has been a life changer for me. I’ve gone back to writing journals years old and added an index in the back.
