Western Australia Offers Pathway to Skilled Migration to Top International Students

Western Australia has a plan, to introduce a fresh Occupation List, for graduates. It will offer to top achievers in international students, a pathway for skilled migration, as per Premier Mark McGowan.

Many top achievers, among graduates, who attend universities in WA, will get a pathway to skilled migration. Moreover, the international students contribute to the growth of economy, and extend a helping hand, to create jobs for the people.

A new Graduate Skilled Migration List will be in place, for attracting the top global talents, who have advance qualifications. Their skill set and rich experience will help in the growth of share of Western Australia, in the global education market.

The McGowan Government will prefer education graduates, Honors, Masters and other degree graduates, and PhD holders. It will offer a specific pathway to skilled migration, as per a government release.

State Nominated Migration Program

Moreover, there will be a priority for skilled migration in the State Nominated Migration Program, for the best global students, who graduate from universities, located in WA.

They play a dominant role, in maintaining the top competitive level in Western Australian universities. They also create knowledge and help in the facilitation of technological and scientific development. Finally, they strengthen the workforce also. Moreover, these changes will help to bring in top international students, to the State, and help in the growth of its share, in the global education market.

The present Skilled Migration List of the State Government will not be affected. There is a policy, to not include occupations like Electricians, Bricklayers, and Mechanics. Furthermore, all information regarding eligibility and methods of applying will be provided, on the migration portal, of the Training and Workforce Development Department.

Premier McGowan also said that with the presence of bright foreign university students, is a major step, in the commitment, to increase the share of the province, in the international education scene. There is a great need, of a message, that WA welcomes global students, as well as their families and friends.
