Composition is a way of guiding the viewer’s eye towards the most important elements of your work, sometimes — in a very specific order. A good composition can help make a masterpiece even out of the dullest objects and subjects in the plainest of environments. On the other hand, a bad composition can ruin a photograph completely, despite how interesting the subject may be. — Photography Life
The first step to leading a creative lifestyle is to take stock of your good ideas and to train yourself to recognize the environment in which these eureka moments occur. Where were you when that great idea hit? What task were you involved in? What time of day was it? What had you eaten/drank/smoked/talked about/seen/heard/learned before the idea came? Being mindful of your creative what/when/where/why/how environment enables you to identify the situations where your creativity blooms. Then, and only then, are you in a position to create a routine that triggers your creativity. Creativity, it turns out, is a creature of habit.
