Anytime I have spent money on anything to do with a man who I’ve just met (Yes, even splitting the cost of a sloppy plate of spaghetti and meatballs doused in meat sauce on a first date that mostly he slobbered up and then asked for the leftovers to be doggy bagged) I have regretted it.
