What impact do your surroundings have on your day?
This may not be a question you often ask yourself, my whole life I never asked myself this question. Until recently when I woke up to the impact my surroundings were having on my life.
I needed to change, I needed to distance myself from the world.
Many of us strive to be free, freedom is often a goal written on our life’s ambitions and dreams. …
How careless are you?
This may come across as quite a strange question, not often a question asked, most of us aim to be more caring, rather than careless.
Recently I started a new routine within my day; each day I will let go of one worry, one stress, one thing that is getting in the way of my happiness.
I will become more careless in what I do in order to be happy.
This all began not so long ago, I am constantly on a mission to create more and more happiness within my life. It’s been an incredible…
What’s your perfect environment?
This may not be a common question, however, it is a rather important one, our surroundings have a huge impact on our lives, where we live, work and rest, all of them contributing to the way in which we live our lives. Many of us seek out the perfect environment, spending our entire lives building structures around us in order to help in creating our perfect life.
Recently I let my surroundings go, today they hold no value in my life whatsoever and it is truly the best decision I have ever made.
For many years…
Who do you idolize?
At some point in our lives, we all have someone in which we look up to, aspire to be like, someone that lives and breathes the greatness we so desire. In some cases it may be a parent, often someone considered famous, maybe even a teacher or leader in your field of expertise. Whoever it may be, someone must come to mind when asked the question, ‘who is your idol?’
Whoever it is, forget them, aspire to be you, love yourself, wake up happy to be in your own mind, body, and soul.
My entire life…
What’s your escapism?
Reading, writing, watching movies, talking with friends, walking, exercise, the list is endless, yet we all have something in which we find comfort. Something that helps us escape from our day to day reality, something that eases our minds and allows us to forget our worries for just a few moments of the day.
Escapism — The tendency to escape from daily reality or routine by indulging in daydreaming, fantasy, or entertainment.
I have always found my escape within the words of a book, writing, walking and most recently meditating, exercising, however, it is within my most…
What did you learn today?
It is often said that we learn something new each day, but do we truly learn something every day? If so, is what we learn of any real value?
I’ve recently made it my mission to learn something new each day and since I have my life has changed for the better, so much so, I have almost become obsessed with learning.
My journey into self-education began some time ago, yet it is only recently when I have implemented it strictly within my daily routine, each day I ensure I spend around 30–60 minutes teaching…
How healthy is your mind?
This is a question that isn’t asked enough, most of us strive for perfect health and perfect bodies, we all want to look good, we all want to at least look healthy, yet the health of our own minds is never at the forefront of discussion when we talk about our overall health.
After many years of neglected health I discovered the only way to truly become healthy is to begin within the mind and the rest will follow.
We all have a different idea of what healthy is and what it means yet for…
How happy are you?
I believe most of us would answer that question rather positively, or at least provide a description of how we are going to find our happiness in the near future.
But how happy are you really?
I lately discovered that happiness is not found beyond our own mind, but rather it is only found within ourselves, deep in our thoughts and that the environment around us will never provide us with true happiness, in fact, I have come to believe that our environments contribute to none of our happiness whatsoever, our external environment holds no value…
How routined is your life?
Like many of us maybe you wake up at the same time each morning, maybe you go to bed at the same time each night, you might start work at an exact time each day and maybe even eat your lunch at the same hour day after day.
However, beyond the normal daily routines, beyond the robotic mode of living, how routined are you?
How much value does structure hold within your day to day living?
I have always been quite the advocate of freedom; to live a free life without boundaries, living each day…
A phrase which has taken the world by storm, I’d approximate that most of the world’s population has used Google to search for something within the last 24 hours. — In October 2019, Google was ranked first amongst the most visited multi-platform web properties in the United States with close to 259 million U.S. unique visitors.
When was the last time you used Google?
Not just Google but there are dozens if not hundreds of search engines across the internet, on our desktop computers, smartphones, and smart devices. All of them doing the same job; answering questions, finding…
You have to create your own happiness.
