I have to say I hate the statement that a team has nothing to play for…or they are just playing spoiler role. On any given team in any given sport, where that team won’t make the playoffs, at least half the roster features players who don’t have guaranteed contracts/jobs for the following season. These guys have EVERYTHING to play for. Whether it is for a job on that team, or somewhere else.
