I want to stay curious. I love learning and at dinner tonight with my 87 year old grandfather, I realised that I knew so little about Singapore and her history. This isn’t meant to be a ILOVESINGAPORE kind of medium where I go on and on about how wonderful it is but it really is a celebration of the small facts that we take for granted.

Like I found out today that Tan Tock Seng Hospital is Singapore’s oldest hospital (EST. 25th July 1844, beat that) — a really tiny detail that doesn’t make a difference to my life except for another little-known BUT related fact that I was the first baby to be born in the maternity ward at NUH!

Now that’s something. ;)
