Justin Trudeau says really cool stuff. I hope it’s not populism but what he genuinely believes in. But his country sucks at issuing visas. I applied for my Canadian visa on January 5th and still no answer. I mean, there is a real risk that I will miss TED, just because of how slow is the Canadian Embassy in Moscow. I know, not so much time has passed since Trudeau became a prime-minister, but come on, they should reform their visa-issuing bureaucracy as soon as possible, it’s crap. (Of course, it’s better to abolish visas for everyone in the world altogether, but, well, this is unfortunately too brave even for a nice guy like Trudeau.)
