Christiane Amanpour is one of my most admired journalists. I have been following her work since my late teens, and she is one of the best interviewers I know. I was thrilled to meet her in Paris, two days after the terrorist attacks in November 2015. She was doing an interview right in front of Le Carillon and Petit Cambodge — two cafes that were among the places hit by attacks. I couldn’t believe I was standing several metres from her. I had already finished my filming that day, so I had several minutes just to stay there, take pictures of her and listen how she takes another brilliant, smooth interview.
