The Onomy Web Wallet Beta Is Live!
Onomy is excited to announce that the public beta of the Onomy Web Wallet is now live and accessible at app.onomy.io.
The current iteration of the beta allows users to:
- Delegate to validators
- Undelegate from validators
- Claim staking rewards
- View data (balance, staked, unstaked, rewards, validator commissions, voting power, and market data of $NOM).
To access the beta web wallet, you can connect with Keplr. Contributors globally will be adding additional functionality, including the use of the Access Mobile Wallet and other Cosmos-enabled wallets.
Here’s how to connect to the Web Wallet:
- Make sure you have Keplr installed
- Go to app.onomy.io
- Click on the Keplr button on the interface to initiate the connection & approve the request to add the Onomy Mainnet in Keplr
- You can now see all available data. If the information does not appear, open your Keplr extension, click on the networks tab, and scroll down to select Onomy Mainnet.
Here’s how to delegate and undelegate:
- Upon entering the interface, you’ll see a list of all available validators
- Select the one you prefer from the list
- Click on Delegate -> enter the amount you’d like to stake -> click on delegate -> approve the transaction in Keplr
- If you’d like to undelegate, follow the same steps but click on undelegate instead.
Here’s how to claim your staking rewards:
- Click on the validator you’ve delegated to
- On the right-hand side, click on Claim Rewards
- Simply approve the transaction in Keplr and your rewards will be reflected in your available balance.
The same workflow is to be followed if you’re using a cold wallet to store NOM, with two differences:
- You’ll have to manually approve each transaction from your cold storage device
- You’ll have to link up your cold wallet to Keplr.
Global contributors are continuously adding functionality to the Onomy ecosystem — for example, the Cosmostation team has integrated $NOM into the IBCWallet, which will be used as an option to connect to the Onomy App interface. In addition, the already-operational Arc Bridge Hub is also being added into the app, alongside additional interfaces including the Onomy Exchange, send/receive functions, NFTs, and more.
More contributors are welcomed, with an open source repository on GitHub, an open and active developer community, for you to get involved in making the Onomy App robust with new functionality — empowered by the Onomy Network.
