It’s Okay If You Get Hurt, Because You’re Still In Your Twenties

“Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain… To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices — today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.” — Kevyn Aucoin

After turning 20 you will see your life goes differently. Because being a young adult means responsibilities. You are responsible for every decision you’ve made. You would think time just flies too fast and you will start regretting many things from the past. Life just seems different after that because you will face many problems. You will think to give up when your problems hitting you because you think you can’t handle it.

You will see yourself at your lowest point when all problems coming to you at the same time. You have no place to hide and you are alone. You are in pain but nobody knows it, they would think you are fine like the other day. Your lover cheating on you, your best friend left you behind, your parents divorce, your society talking about you behind your back. It’s hurting you so bad, you would think it is the end of the world because you are fucked up.

It’s okay, it’s okay if you get hurt. It’s okay if you made wrong choices, it’s okay if your lover cheating on you or your best friend left you behind. It’s okay if your society talking bad things in your back. You get hurt because you are still young and you have to learn about many things to face bigger problems in the future. Life, Love, Friendship, Heartbroken, and Family Issues gonna be your problems and you have to face it all alone.

Because I know you will be stronger. Because I know you will be better. You will start over and fix all your problems by yourself. You will understand what is the meaning of all your problems for your life. It’s okay if you get hurt because in the meantime you will find your own happiness. You will proud of yourself after passing the lowest point of your life and see yourself on top. So, it’s okay if you get hurt because you’re still in your twenties.
