One Small Change I Made That Improved My Daily Mental State

I have gone back to carrying an Actual Book with me at all times. When I’m queuing, waiting for someone, eating lunch alone for quiet time, I now try and read a few pages rather than checking my phone. It means I totally switch off from my phone into an interesting story for a few 10 minute chunks of the day, and that time stops feeling like dead time. I’m really enjoying it so far.
