Interesting angle, I hadn’t thought of it like this before. It’s tricky, because you need to do it in some jobs (photographer, marketer etc) and it’s about finding that balance between doing it well enough to feel like you’re giving your career aspirations your best shot, and not so much that you feel like a prize idiot, becoming one of “those people” who let their food get cold before they eat it, take a hundred photos of themselves everyday etc… and all the other things people do to get “content”.
