100 Days of REAL: Day 20

I don’t like calling my partial bridge a partial bridge, or dentures. It makes me feel weird. I call it a retainer. (Backstory: I knocked my two front teeth out at fourteen years old and have two (and a half) fake teeth as a result.) Maybe it goes even deeper than me feeling weird. I’m realizing now that it’s probably because I feel like I’ll be made fun of or excluded for having dentures, as silly as that sounds.
