My Favorite Productivity Hacks

I’m the person who is always attempting to find some really cool productivity hacks that I can incorporate into my daily life. From Bullet Journaling to Pomodoro method, I’m always trying to find the best possible ways to make the most of my day because let’s face it, there are not enough hours in the day to do everything. I’ve compiled a list for some of my favorite productivity hacks and things that I plan to do. Let me know what your favorite productivity hacks down below.

Wake Up Early OR Earlier

I’m the early bird gets the worm kind of woman. I can go to sleep at 3 a.m and still wake up fresh faced at 6 a.m (I don’t make a normal practice of this because I’m washed). If you have a hefty to-do list and tons of things that you want to accomplish either in a day or throughout the week, waking up early is a great way to achieve this. Knock out a few tasks before heading to work.

Working on a Side Hustle? Give yourself a minimum of eight hours a week.

This is something that I recently read — where I read this I don’t remember, but it makes sense. If you give yourself eight hours a week to work on your side hustle, this is actually a way to make it lucrative. Design a schedule where this works. Can you commit two hours a day to your hustle, an hour, or just weekends? My suggestion is to find something that really works for you as your side hustle also (more about that down below) so it doesn’t feel like much.

Bullet Journaling?

I’m kind of obsessed with Bullet Journaling. I love how it helps keep you organized yet leaves you on tasks, with notes or details that you can keep for the next year. Last year, I created a great bullet journal that left me with tons of writing space and 100% organized. The only trouble I had with my bullet journal is that I tend to write a lot and ended up running out of space.

Considering creating a bullet journal of your own, here are some resources that I think can be extremely helpful:

Find an Accountability Partner

Need a way to stay productive and on task — get an accountability partner. I have several, and I am a partner to others. This is a great way to stay on tasks and to remind yourself — girl do what you’re supposed to be doing. If you don’t want people in your business, another great accountability partner is *hits drum* Google Calendar. If you goal set or set deadlines and establish notifications for them, it will help you stay focused and on task.

Set To-Do Lists for The Month, Not The Day

Just a great quote, and good idea from Chelsea Clinton:

“Right now, I think about what I have to get done over the course of a month and generally think about my life in terms of a month and I generally think about my life in terms of weeks within each month, setting goals for everything I hope to get done for work, for everything I hope to get done for work, friends and mostly importantly family.”

“One of the hardest things is maintaining focus after you’ve already accomplished something. View what had previously been an end goal as an interim stop — I find that humbling and energizing.” — Chelsea Clinton
