V/One Saved My Startup

As a nonprofit founder, people often try to take advantage of me. So when an international app development company, Fibytes reached out to me with the offer of my app being finished in one month with a “charity discount” I was rightfully wary. But after the CEO assured me over the phone, I made an agreement with them.

This was May. Week by week I reached out asking when the app would be finished. Week by week they promised “just one more.” One more day, one more month. In August, I was told the app was finished. Then, something unexpected happened.

The company dissapeared.

I recieved no messages from anyone in the company. They did not pick up the phone. Did not answer emails. They dissapeared. And along with them, all the work I put in to creating the app with them dissapeared too. I recieved a sketchy message from the CEO telling me to not contact him again.

In tears, I did not know what to do. I promised the app to so many people; hospitals, patients, donors. Not only did I not have an app, but I had no idea of how to continue.

Enter V/One. This is not a sponsored article, I am just writing this because I could not be more grateful for V/One.

I remembered meeting some of their employees at the Next Gen Summit over the summer, so I emailed them. One hour later, I had a phone meeting booked with Jeremy Redman from V/One and options. So Many Options.

After explaining my situation, Jeremy assured me he would do everything he could to help me. Literally one hour later he began creating my app. One Hour! Not days or weeks or months.

You’re probably wondering about pricing at this point. No one is that nice without an incentive right?

Wrong. Jeremy worked with me and adjusted the pricing of the services to be within my budget. He even created special codes to adjust the total pricing.

It took months for me to hear back from Fibytes. A few days after my phone call with Jeremy, he had the first version of my app to show me.

The best part of V/One has been the communication. Working as a nonprofit exec is so scary when people try to take advantage of you. But V/One has been in communication with me nonstop, they answer my emails, texts, phone calls so quickly and kindly.

V/One saved my startup. Their empathy as a company was amazing, creating my app amazingly and working with me closely.

I would so encourage any startup to use V/One. Their pricing is extremely reasonable, their communication skills saved me, and their product is awesome.
