8 Things to Let Go of Right Now

If you think that letting go is hard, consider this … holding on is harder. You hold on with your money, space, time, attention and emotion. You have to hold on every single day. You only have to let go once.

  1. Clutter
    Start with the easy stuff. Practice the power of letting go by giving away your candle holders, jeans that don’t fit, extra dishes, cups, odds, ends, and other things that don’t really matter to you.

If feeling bad about things that have already happened or for things that never happened is a problem for you, redirect your thoughts and energy. Every moment you spend holding onto guilt for something you cannot change is a moment that you don’t spend being joyful, creative, loving, or present.

Sleeping in is overrated. Each new day is an opportunity to start again. Do it intentionally. Make it count. Figure out how much sleep you need for your best health and skip the snooze button. Use this gentle guide to help you wake up earlier.

It’s one of many stories that remind us if you think you can’t, you can’t. But if you think you can, watch out world.
