Really enjoyed this article. Well thought out and thorough. I think one of the things that allowed Green to become the NBA player he is, is the fact that he spent 4 years developing (and having Izzo adapt to allow Green’s game to be featured). I won’t argue all kids should stay 4 years, but I think if we want another Draymond, you’re not gonna find it in a 1-and-done. I just don’t think an 18/19 yr. old kid will have the emotional growth to have that confidence and IQ. I think the 4 years Green spent in college developed the smarts/maturity/understanding that allows him to play at such a peak level without having the advantage of otherworldly athletic ability or size, like a A. Davis or Durant or etc., etc. Anyway, good article. Thanks for writing it.
