Impala: Version 2

Today, Impala are delighted to announce the launch of Impala Version 2, a landmark for our service and a major expansion in both our PMS integration capabilities and the possibilities it provides our users.

After months of toiling at a myriad of different screens, insanely late nights in the office and more Deliveroo orders than we’d care to remember, we’re extremely excited to unveil the fruits of the development team’s labours.

So what’s new?

Widening the Scope

Where Impala Version 1 laid the foundations for our hospitality connection offering, Version 2 greatly widens the scope of what is possible via Impala PMS integrations.

We spoke to our customers and something that came up time and time again was the need for two-way connections and a greater range of accessible data.

So we listened.

Now, integrating vendors are able to read and write directly to a Property Management System, with support for bookings, rates, extras, guests, billing and much more besides. This will save vendors a huge amount of time, money and resource, while also allowing for an easier, less stressful integration experience.

We have even scaled-up our range of accommodation providers. Once solely a service for the hotel industry, Impala users can now draw data from hostels and other providers, allowing for a fully integrated development strategy.

V2 provides two-way PMS connections quickly, securely and cost-effectively. It is the latest stage in our mission to provide hotel tech innovators with the data access they need to propel the hospitality industry into the next generation.

As well as expanding the connections we offer to our existing PMS partners (MEWS, Clock PMS, 5*, Hetras), we’re finalising the technical side of some very big, very exciting PMS integrations.
