Strength Through The Struggle
Strength can only be developed through friction and effort. Your spirit will continue to grow as you draw strength out of hardship, patience out of testing, and perseverance out of setback. It’s important to realize that your outcomes in life will have less to do with your circumstances and more do do with how you choose to respond.

By mindful and careful training a person can shape themselves to have a proactive response in life. This is an art within itself and can only be accomplished by analyzing each situation before reacting. This simple approach will make all of the difference in the fruits that are produced through the decisions that one makes.
Think with purpose, live fearlessly, and achieve masterfully. Once you have conceived your purpose, it is important to carefully map out a plan to help navigate your course. Remove any doubt & fear that you might have; these feelings of inadequacy should have no space in your life. You will learn over time that doubt and fear only lead to a greater conflict from within. “If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm.”
Your physical environment has everything to do with your inside condition. One can be rich, yet poor in spirit. It is therefore of the utmost importance that we learn to cultivate our mindset for abundance. Once the thoughts have been fully nourished they will settle into the heart which is where the lifeblood of our very being flows.
People change when the pain of staying the same outweighs the pain of what it takes to change. This makes the old saying, “if there is no pain, there is no gain.” true. Learn to connect pain with growth. You cannot grow muscle without putting in work at the gym. On the same token, one cannot grow in character without experiencing pain and setbacks in their life. It has helped me over the years to reset my focus in the midst of conflict; I do this by asking myself this one simple question… What can be learned and cultivated through this experience? If it is the struggle that shapes and molds me into the person that I was created to be, there is something that can be learned through each and every experience.
Set aside a little bit of time today to reflect on various events in your life. What has caused you to mature the most? What has left you damaged along the way? Lastly, how can you begin to shift your perspective on the situation? I know that some situations are much more painstaking than others. BUT, no matter how serious the memories may be, I want you to draw out a revelation that came up on the other side. What did you learn in that season? What attitudes and beliefs did you develop? How did it make you change?
Our memories remain present to help guide us into the future. They create barriers in our life that protect us from harm. They create patterns (good or bad) that shape our reality over time. We all experience pain, but we control how we choose to respond. How do you picture your life being shaped? The choice is your and it all begins in your mind.
“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” -Proverbs
As one continues to think, they will remain.
