Unlimited vacation is a dark-perk and you should use that to your advantage
Wesley Walser

Notion of “unlimited” vacation is between a lie and a carrot. If employers throw enough work at you, don’t even think about taking longer chunks of vacation days off. There’s an unspoken pressure from managers not to take it or even social pressure and “backlash” from co-workers [Read: someone has to get the job done,..it can’t turn into a picnic; why is he/she always on “unlimited vacation”?] I think working 4 days-week is as “unlimited” as it gets, IMO.

On the whole unlimited vacation is deceptive.
