Contextual Perplexity

It has become apparent that we have lost sight of context in this world. Too often do we look to peg things merely in terms of black and white and lose sight of the grey between.

Foods can only be good or bad for you. People are only friends or foe. You can only vote for Trump or Hillary.

The world we live is not one of extremes. It is a beautiful mess of highs, lows, Middle Earth, and numerous forks in the road. There is black, white, and an unlimited color wheel in between that would throw your local Sherwin Williams for a loop.

It’s time we bring the art of understanding context back into fold. Are you willing to make that kind of commitment or just continue to only paint with two colors?

Understand it will take a little more effort on your part. More patience, more perspective, more effort.

This goes for the food you eat, the people you surround yourself with, or the guy that cut you off on the freeway.

I challenge you to look at things in a new light. No more black and white, good and bad. Challenge your normal thinking. Embrace being uncomfortable with both your thoughts and actions.

Let’s bring it back.

In the meantime, would love it if you’d check out the 30 Day Reclaim or find us on Facebook/ Instagram for some real context on health and wellness.
