My grandma had breast cancer when I was around 10–11 and I really didn’t get the whole possibility of death, thank goodness that it didn’t spread. As I got older I realized that I could have lost her, and possibly my grandpa (if he couldn’t have dealt with her loss). I hope you live past, to see you’re daughter get married, etc. but, if you become another statistic to cancer, at least you’ll have known you at least spent time with her, your wife and family members, for those last critical years (that many don’t care to sacrifice, or don’t get to process-fully) . Good vibes on your quest to be cancer-free, live another decade longer.
