Method 1: Using the Annotate Tool

  2. Access the Annotate Tools: Click the “Tools” menu and select “Comment & Markup” or alternatively, go to the “Review” tab and click the “Comment” icon.
  3. Select the Freehand Tool: In the Annotate panel, locate the “Draw” tool and click and hold the icon until a drop-down menu appears. Select the “Freehand” option.
  4. Draw the Shape: Click and drag on the PDF document to draw the desired freehand shape. You can adjust the shape’s thickness and color using the controls in the Properties panel.
  5. Finalize the Shape: Right-click on the freehand shape and select “Finish Drawing” from the context menu. This will close the freehand drawing tool and finalize the shape.
