  1. Launch Adobe Acrobat: Open the PDF document into which you want to insert a freehand shape.
  2. Access the Annotate Tools: Click on the “Tools” menu and select “Comment & Markup” or alternatively, go to the “Review” tab and click on the “Comment” icon.
  3. Select the Freehand Tool: In the Annotate panel, locate the “Draw” tool. Click and hold the icon until a drop-down menu appears. Select the “Freehand” option.
  4. Draw the Freehand Shape: Click and drag on the PDF document to draw the desired freehand shape. You can adjust the shape’s thickness and color using the controls in the Properties panel.
  5. Finalize the Shape: Right-click on the freehand shape and select “Finish Drawing” from the context menu. This will close the freehand drawing tool and finalize the shape.

Additional Tips:

  • Use the ruler and guide lines to ensure precise positioning of shapes.
  • Adjust the opacity of shapes to blend them with the background or emphasize specific areas.
  • If you need to edit a shape after placing it, double-click on the shape to activate the drawing tools and make changes.
