Here’s ALL You Need to Build a Clear Vision

The process of developing a vision can be compared with the process of constructing a house. You see, in building construction, the basic requirements are, unquestionably, the land, bricks and builders. Off course, there are other important requirements. But these three necessities are basic when it comes to building.

Normally, the person who desires to construct a house cannot begin the process until he has a piece of land. Once he gets a piece of land, he would then begin to think of assembling the bricks. When the bricks are available, he would move on and begin to recruit the builders.

In the same way, the VIP-CI leader has three basic requirements in order to construct an effective vision. In place of land, bricks and builders, the VIP-CI leader requires a mind, ideas, and a team.

The mind of a VIP-CI leader functions like a piece of land because his vision is built in his mind. The mind serves as the atmosphere or rather, as the place where the visioning process occurs. Without the mind, visioning cannot occur. Like a piece of a land, the mind is a raw material because it’s natural, undiluted and it comes from our Creator.

Also, the mind is meant to be developed just as any piece of land is meant to be developed. If we don’t do anything with our minds, it will remain inactive in the same way, a land stays dormant if it’s not used. To put the land to good use, we have to bring together some bricks for the building process to begin. Now that’s exactly what the VIP-CI leader does when he comes up with ideas in his mind.

Ideas are the building blocks of vision. To develop, and construct a vision, you need to bring together some ideas. As a land owner uses bricks to build a house, the VIP-CI leader uses ideas to build a vision.

But the building of a house isn’t done by one person. To build a house, you will require a team of builders. These builders may not just be a group of laborers. Your team of builders will include engineers, architects, plumbers and carpenters.

Similarly, the VIP-CI leader needs to assemble a team of professionals who would work on the ideas he has come up with. To help him build his vision, they would have to depend on the ideas he has formed.

More so, the size of a land determines the number of blocks that will be required to build on it. And the number of blocks you get will also decide the size of your builders. The visioning process also works that way. If you’ve got a big mind, you would likely come up with big ideas that will ultimately require a big team. By understanding how land, blocks and builders’ function in the construction of a building, you will know exactly how to build a solid vision.
