Interestingly this is the third time Phillip and his family have survived mass violence. First time was when He and His Family were in Nairobi where his wife Chinwe was the Kenya Country Director for Junior Achievement USA, Popular Ghanaian Writer Kofi Awonoor was killed in that Nairobi violence, Second time was when Chinwe worked with Discovery Card and now this.

The other picture shows his godfather Dr. Phillip Effiong. My son personally picked and captioned the pictures for his school project. He worked on this school project with the help of Dad and late brother Essien, and used the opportunity to lecture his brother on his rich culture and Nigerian spirit that never backs down.
