In 2014, I appeared, alongside Nosa Igiebor, editor of Tell Magazine (Nigeria’s leading news journal) on Angela Rae’s DC Breakdown, a news talk program Broadcast from Washington D.C. focusing on the kidnapping of more than 200 school girls in Chibok . The program aired on the Soul of the South Television Network, a station which celebrates the values, culture and lifestyles of southern African Americans and is the №1 source for news, culture and entertainment targeting African Americans. Our discussion focused on the kidnappings and the insurgency problem in Nigeria. Here is a clip of the program. Interview conducted by phone between Lagos and Washington DC in 2014, a year after I left Vacaville for a spiritual hiatus in Nigeria because I was so shocked by the back stab of my late son by Debra, his Mom, while I prayed for him. Essien was so happy when I sent him a clip of this interview with Angela! https://vimeo.com/album/2880052/video/95742167

(The Feds may have hacked the link for the Interview on Soul of the South TV.)

If that link is blocked here is another version of our interview with Tracie Powell of the National Association of Black Journalists on the kidnapped Chibok Girls! There is a pause in the interview because there was a power black out in the Tell newsroom/boardroom.
