Jira for Marketing/SEO agencies

In my recent experience being a free lance Jira cloud admin, i had the chance to work with multiple marketing and SEO agencies.

Just as development based companies and teams, Marketing and SEO agencies need to manage their work, meet dead lines, deliver for customer and avoid bottle necks.

Jira, being an industry standard for high-tech and dev companies, is an amazing tool for project management. However, though not necessarily tailored for the efforts of Marketing and SEO businesses, Jira has wonderful tools, even in its free version, that can be used specifically for the needs of such agencies!

So, what are some of the pain points and possible features and tools that Jira has to offer.

Meeting deadlines

Meeting deadlines is super important for marketing and SEO agencies, and it’s not just because I say so — it’s in direct relation to the success of a project. In the world of digital marketing, timing is everything. If a project is delayed, it can mean missed opportunities, lost revenue, and even damage to the agency’s reputation. No one wants to be known as the agency that can’t deliver on time!

Clients expect their projects to be delivered on time and you would like to know that your project goals are met within their time frame!

The corner stone which is impossible to do without, is the Due date field.
If you need to have a specific time the day, your Jira should be set with a time field…
