Best intentions often fall victim to fallibility. I appreciate that CA-04 exists. I don’t blame the departed for doing so partly because I am ignorant to the specifics of this episode and because because their departure was inspired by the perception that you were inviting violence and that was the right thing to do. To the extent that my participation in Indivisible CA-04 was never as a member, but rather as a member of a cooperative local group (two groups, actually), I do not find myself in the position of having to leave CA-04. Having said that, however, I would also have left given the reported circumstances. But, I would also would participate in the Unity March anyway.

But, also, I do believe you are pursuing the correct approach in ensuring that the organization is in good hands and then personally moving on. This has to be a hard thing to do, but it is a clear demonstration that your interest is in the greater good.

All I can say is thank you to you and thanks to all those that contributed even where that required them to rightfully leaving the organization. And I appreciate those that will take over the reins of the organization. You have my appreciation and respect and, I anticipate, my restored support.
