Great points Yves. While reading the article it came in my mind the figure of a meddleage torture strategy, that is is to tie each of the legs and harm of a human being in a different horse, then put the horses to walk , each one in diferent directions, until the body was dismembered.
It seams to me that we are doing the same thing with our business and ideas, every one is going in one different direction, don’t taking care about the common propouses.
I believe that a good system is the one that take care of the people, employees, that will take care of the product, the goal of the company, that will facilitated the live of some people, the customers, that buying the product or the service will create value for the stakeholders, that are the parts that have interest in the business.
The CEO should be a maestro, like in an orchestra, he, she, should assure that the people that work, the product of their work, the customers and the other stakeholders, all have the same information about what is going on and where the “GROUP” want to arrive. In this model the selfmanagement seams work really good, you have all the information, you understand what and why you need to do, you have access to people, ideas and other resources, you work in autonomy to achieve your goals. I think that there is not just one way to do this t’s in different way, but different ways of thinking about the future and that the experimentation is the only way to find the best way for each reality and goals.
