Poor Black People Can, In Fact, Take Pride in their Communities, CNN Idiot.

The new line about the problem with poor black people is that, and I am quoting an idiot from CNN referencing the policy platform of Donald Trump—if a quivering mass of sinking timber can be called a platform—

“Poor black Americans don’t take any pride in their communities because they are not invested in them. The solution is to create jobs in those communities so that there is belief in the value in the community.”

I think, perhaps, I have never heard anything so offensive or misguided in a long time. Is it not possible that poor black Americans take pride in their communities and families, but are crippled by the cycle of poverty, authoritarian intervention in their lives and utter lack of infrastructure because of the indifference—if not outright contempt—towards them demonstrated by a great many American lawmakers unless they are pandering to a camera crew?

Gee, I guess this will remain a connundrum of the first order…
