Objective: Provide an update on the progress of the office den build.

Starting with the basic shape of the room. Here are images I have been using for inspiration. After the office den is done, there will be a couple of surprises in the end.

This is the basic layout of the room. Adjustments to the center need to be made, but the layout is building from the ground up. Starting with the floor.

After placing the floor, I moved to build the most complex part of the room. The oval-shaped windows.

This can be created using the ProBuilder tool provided by Unity

Select the plus next to New Shape, the Shape Tool appears, then select Arch. After modifying the shape, to make it ultimately look like the 180 degree curve.

This is the finished product.

I made sure to place the gameobject in a 45-degree angle as the windows in the show look like such.

These little triangle pillar things. Made up of 4 total objects. 2 pillars were provided by gamedevhq, the triangle was made in probuilder and changed the default material to a glass material as there will be an area light on it later like the picture below.

I took the approach of modifying a cube to a triangle instead of using the prism prefab as I wanted a 90-degree angle and the prism does not offer that.

Tools > ProBuilder > Probuilder Window > Click the + next to New Shape > Select Cube.

Ensure the Size is 1, 1, 1.

Click the words “ProBuilderize” not the plus, the words. Then select the triangle tool at the top of the screen

Click on one of the edge, use the move tool to move the edge towards the bottom or top corner.
