Busy Life and New Book Idea

So it has been a very busy few weeks since we last talked. So Camp NaNoWriMo was a bust. I only got 14,314 words out of 50,000 written in the month of April because of the move. Luckily they also have another one in July.

I also came up with an another writing idea within the last few days. Here’s a small synopsis of what I came up with:

Young man stumbles through a hidden portal to the land of fairytales. It is over 200 years after the fairytales have happened and a new villain threatens the land. He must gather the descendants of the fairytale characters and use his new-found magic to battle the villain.

I’ve already come up with quite a few characters. I’ve written a bit of information about the descendants of Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio, Aladdin and Jasmine, Genie, Bell and the Beast, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Rumpelstiltskin, the Fairy Godmother, Ariel and Prince Eric, the Hatter, Jack and Princess Isabelle, Snow White and the Prince, Valarie (Little Red Riding Hood/The Wolf), Aurora(sleeping Beauty) and Prince Phillip, Rapunzel, Wendy and Peter Pan, Prince Cornelius and Thumbelina, Alice (Wonderland), Humbert the Huntsman, Tinkerbell, and the villains.

I started to outline the book as well. I essentially got the beginning of the book outlined. Now I need to work on the middle and the end. Hope you are all doing well.
