An accomplished entrepreneur, Otis Benjamin “Ben” Young resides in the Washington, D.C metropolitan area. He co-founded Sworkit, a leading fitness app company that married his passion for technology and fitness and which is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, right outside of Washington, D.C. The firm’s chief innovation officer, Benjamin Young remains abreast of the latest industry developments by regularly attending the Habit Summit.

Launched in 2013, the two-day Habit Summit aims to gather experts from all over the world to share their knowledge of behavioral science, design, and consumer psychology. Its worldwide participants range from domestic startup founders to Fortune 500 executives. This year’s edition will be held starting April 11, 2020, at the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco.

Speakers will include Nir Eyal, best-selling author of the book Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products and the summit’s chair. His topic will be, Indistractable: How to Focus In and Tune Out Digital Distraction. Another slated speaker is Gina Gotthilf, vice president for marketing and growth for Duolingo, who will speak on How Habits Grew Duolingo to over 200 Million Users.
