How to make your food more delicious on Instagram
3 instant steps for your restaurant…
Your customers want to see images of your food and Instagram’s where they’re looking.
These days, EVERYONE’s got a camera in their pocket and as you know, they use them. The result is a plethora of cellphone-photo content.
How do you ensure YOUR food photos stand out, look delicious and ultimately help you sell more of those dishes?
Here’s the recipe: 1 part equipment, 1 part (simple) technique and 1 part logic:
Step 1: you need a basic Food Photography Bundle (or something similar) consisting of an entry level (DSLR) camera as well as a swivel-head flash — This is pretty critical.
Step 2: Set the camera on Auto mode, point the swivel head of the flash AT YOUR CEILING, get close to your food and FIRE!
Step 3: when you post the pic, PLEASE add your SHOP NOW button so that customers can buy, immediately, with their tummies!

Once you’ve tried a few shots with this equipment, Click here if you have questions. (I’m sure you’ll have and I’m happy to assist!)
Sure, you’d have spent a bit of money on equipment, but you’ll be doing this very often, as it pays dividends. Consider this investment like you do your kitchen equipment.
Don’t kid yourself: while modern smartphone cameras aren’t bad, there’s no substitution for proper glass (the lens) and great light (supplied by your swivel-head flash) — two things you need to create great photos. Don’t put out mediocre images which wastes your time and advertising Rands.
Do your delicious food justice and sell more of it in the process.
