The digital nomad lie
Yann Girard

You can’t expect to be working as effectively while traveling. That should not come as a surprise; most people (myself included) find travel quite exhausting.

As with everything in life, either confine yourself to the well-worn path — nothing wrong with that, by the way — or be prepared to make mistakes and learn from them.

Although starting out as a digital nomad is quite easy nowadays, there is an elaborate skill set to be learned. Every time I think I have it all under control, I set myself up for disappointment.

Acknowledging that is not cool, so the glossy social media posts tend to sweep that under the rug.
