Why not change the business model? Pay listeners who buy and recommend music to others. Share a portion of each sale with listeners. I actually built an algorithm and app that tracks referral sales of music, and you can pay downlines of fans 35% of each sale. Authors and composers, performers etc all get paid as long as they are in the chain. 50% of each sale goes to rights owners. It’s now available on Google Play called Pompipi. The Apple App Store upload has some problem at the moment.
