“But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt” (Genesis 19:26)

Lot was living in the city of Sodom and the people there were wicked. Hence, God decided to destroy that city. Since Lot was obedient, God sent His angels to warn him and his family so that they could escape that disaster. While fleeing from that destruction, Lot’s wife turned back, because she was worried about her worldly affairs. Eventually, she became a pillar of salt and the city too was destroyed. Like Sodom, scripture says, the present evil world will also be destroyed, and Christ has already given us many end-time signs so that we can stay alert. The increase in Knowledge, Israel Regathering, great earthquakes, famines, pestilences, and many such things are signs that we are living in the end times. Hence, we must be warned to focus on the Kingdom of God so that we can escape the great day of disaster that will take place any time soon. If we take the warnings of Christ seriously, we will focus more on Godly works and will be saved. Amen!
