“For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised” (Hebrews 10:36)

In our Christian journey, endurance is crucial to prove our faithfulness. Anything in the beginning could be exciting, but when we actually get into it, gradually we get to know the hurdles. A young boy living in a village that was affected by drought, walking on the road. Suddenly he saw a path and was excited to explore, so he travelled in it. Initially, he was thrilled, but later he came to know that it is a forest area and the path he entered is very dangerous. After a few days of travel he thought to go back, but his desire to find out the other end kept him motivated. After several months of struggle, he finally reached, and awestruck by a beautiful flourished Island! Similarly, our Christian journey in the beginning would have been exciting, but gradually we would have realized the painful struggles we must undergo in this spiritual life. But let us not be discouraged, rather let us always be motivated to see our God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Surely, our endurance will never go in vain. Amen!
