“He raises the poor up from the dust, he lifts up the needy from the trash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor…” (1 Samuel 2:8)

Hannah was a barren and she was mocked. This made her cry and upset often. One day she decided to go to the temple and pray. She cried and prayed for a boy child and said she will dedicate the boy to God. After some time, Samuel was born. Hence, Hannah thanked God for accepting her prayer. She acknowledges that God can do the impossible. Her son Samuel became a mighty prophet and a judge in the history of Israel. Surely, our God can do the impossible things if we have complete faith in Him. He will lift us up at the due time. Hence, let us have confidence in our almighty God and never forget to thank Him for all His good deeds we received from Him. Amen!
