"The temple guards went back to the chief priests and the Pharisees, who asked them, “Why didn’t you bring him in?” “No one ever spoke the way this man does,” the guards replied (John 7:45,46)

This conversation was about Jesus Christ. The guards who had been sent to capture Jesus came back conflicted. They confessed to the priests that they couldn’t arrest him because no man ever spoke like this man. Truly, despite being servants of unbelievers, their insight is very true. The Bible declares elsewhere that grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. When we preach the words of Jesus, while we will still face persecution as even Jesus did, it is also certain that even many of our haters will know in their hearts that something is special about them. What a privilege it is to be counted as followers of Jesus, a man unlike no other in history! May the peace of God be with you.
