Washington state senator slammed for saying nurses ‘play cards’ for ‘considerable amount of the day’ — And from my view America This Is The Most Important Health Matter For This Decade!
A Washington state senator has drawn the ire of nurses after remarks she made suggesting that nurses in smaller hospitals “probably play cards for a considerable amount of the day.”
The Washington State Senate considered a bill Tuesday, SHB 1155, that would provide nurses with uninterrupted meal and rest periods.
“By putting these types of mandates on a critical access hospital that literally serves a handful of individuals, I would submit to you that those nurses probably do get breaks. They probably play cards for a considerable amount of the day,” Washington state Senator Maureen Walsh said on Tuesday during a debate on the Washington state Senate floor. Walsh had also introduced an amendment to the bill that would prohibit nurses from working more than eight hours.
“Well, if we have an issue with nurses getting tired, let’s quit letting them do 12-hour shifts, let’s let them do 8-hour shifts. Like most standard shifts are,” Walsh said on Tuesday. “Twelve hours, I know they want it, but then they come back and they start talking out of both sides of the mouth and telling us how tired they are.”
CNN reached out to Washington Gov. Jay Inslee’s office to see if the governor intends to sign the bill.
“We generally don’t make determinations on bill action until after the final bill is delivered to our office,” Jaime Smith, a spokeswoman for Inslee’s office, told CNN in an email.
Inslee told reporters on Friday that he’s been briefed on the bill and that the issue of limiting nurses’ shifts to eight hours per day “gets resolved.”
“We hope that a good bill gets to my desk,” Inslee said at a bill signing at the state capitol. “I’m very empathetic with the nurses on unduly burdening them so they can’t be proficient in their work and so I just hope this gets resolved in a way that we have serious legislation.”
I appreciate the focus of the Washington State Senator which, believe it or not, is important for the future of healthcare delivery and medical privacy not only in America.
And the key words of note are a shift issue at a local hospital may be the biggest clue to the nation’s worst medical privacy violation.
And because Kaiser Permanente Hospital has branches in the state of Washington I think the hospital has questions to answer.
I have decided to go public because Kaiser is stonewalling and acting as if this is a government problem alone.
While my Colonoscopy in the summer of 2013 may have been hacked through CCTV, and without the knowledge of hospital staff, I know and believe that my Sigmoidoscopy procedure on November 16, 2016 was aerially hacked with inside collusion from either the Caucasian nurse or Phillipino nurse who performed the procedure between 8 AM And 9 Am on that day.
And I recall words like working a long shift. So during that long shift was there communication in the break room at Gastroenterology a few hours prior to keep open the window with a view to the runway approach during my procedure?
And which one of these two nurses seemed to be talking “out of both sides of the mouth and telling the other how tired they were?”
Could it have been the Filipino nurse who inserted the brown Sigmoidoscopy flex tools for collection of tissues from my intestines for the lab?

President Obama should have had colonoscopy without sedation
(Good news! Well for mine at Kaiser I was sedated. And I think everyone who has had a Colonoscopy recommended for all adults over 45 to prevent colon cancer) would agree that that is appropriate, especially when you have never had anything inserted in your behind. But unlike Obama’s Colonoscopy which we read about in the newspapers I got a text tip from Virginia in 2017 that my Sigmoidoscopy/Colonoscopy procedures in 2012/2013 were aerially hacked and electronically duplicated. On the morning of my Sigmoidoscopy in November 2012, a female Vacaville Police Officer was ahead of me from my Cheyenne neighborhood to the gate of the hospital. In hindsight I think the Police got a signal (Intercepted phone call) and knew something politically wrong was amiss. But their hands were tied because this is a political scheme. But by whom and for what purpose is the important medical question that the world needs to ask Washington DC? One source says this is the worst HIPAA violation and that there may be 3 Dimensional art work involved from space. Well wouldn’t that be enough reason for a President to be on trial for crimes against humanity. Thanks to my Stanford team and Maya Moore for providing some more clues. The good news is I am heterosexual and I have been heterosexual all my life. And I have never seen a naked white person, man or woman. So now who is the dumb one? Obviously not me. And two other important data in this medical puzzle is that I am 5’7” and not 6’2” like a relative who used to watch our home while we vacated; or 6’3'’ like the hallway picture frame of my son inadvertently captured on the Axis Security Camera in 2013 when he discovered after bowel movement that there was not toilet roll in the bathroom. I immediately deleted the odd picture from the Axis Security Camera archives on my computer and advised my ex to do the same on her Iphone6. I think she did not, and that picture may have been hacked. And that is a violation for the Education Secretary to resolve.)
The most serious violation would be if they used electronic images from these procedures as a cover up for the back stab of my 17 year old son in 2013. Now wouldn’t this be worse than the kind of heinous crimes we heard from Nazi Germany? So after I have clearly stated my case I need Kaiser Compliance to act on this issue. Here is my complaint to Kaiser Compliance in Oakland “ Abdul what kind of effect does a bill from the state of Washington have on Kaiser? I recall one of the nurses who performed my Sigmoidoscopy on Nov. 12, 2012 refer to fatigue from a long shift. Did that affect her sense of judgment? The operation was in Gastroenterology on the side with a view for aircraft approach to the Nut Tree Airport Runway. There was a Cauccasian and Filipino nurse. I think the Caucasian nurse quit Kaiser in 2013. Procedure was between 8 and 9 AM. In hindsight I think Vacaville Police knew something wrong was afoot. A female officer drove in front of me all the way from my neighborhood heading west on Interstate 80. She had a worried look on her face. Could they have intercepted a break room message to one of the errant nurses about an air hack scheme? Is this not enough information for an Oakland Kaiser Compliance probe?” America This Is Your Case!
