Summer 2018 under Benjamin front and center! I and Janet talked extensively about our time at Newswatch and of course how she was appreciative of her time as a new journalist under my mentorship at Newswatch, various assignments away from the office for a back of the book section known as Newsliners. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the widow of the late Biafran leader was one of many socialites and high profile Nigerians we interviewed for that section of Newswatch sometimes at their homes or in hotels. In our 2018 conversation concern for hotel switches of images was front and center. Newswatch A Way of Life!

Janet told me that I was needed at our editor’s 70th birthday celebration in Lagos. Unfortunately I was getting ready to return to America after My Uncle’s funeral. She then insisted I must donate some money towards a giant TV for our boss Ray Ekpu. We donated a TV for Ray Ekpu’s 70th birthday. For legal and obvious reasons after son’s death and after I was informed by AT&T of a scam linked to someone else’s image I have not watched TV since 2019 with Ethelle Ekpe-Aderemi at the Fairfield Hilton. That was the last time I handled a TV Remote Control! I get my news from sanitized sources. Some sacrifices are worth it! I will resume TV when I meet my next wife.

Now a question of timing and with who and in whose mouth and where? And Ray where we dubbed through the TV? https://lnkd.in/g8WXaFV
