Supervisors Score an A+ With Four Key Decisions To Stem Violence in the County; Donnie Patchin Appointed Reclamation District 2136 Trustee

Fairfield, Calif — At their last session for the year County Supervisors approved a slew of amendments and contracts to address violence and support victims of Violence in the County.
In the first of four key agreements County Supervisors approved a $117,222 contract amendment ( $33,222) with Victims Empowerment Support Team (VEST) through March 31, 2024 to provide services in the Office of Family Violence Prevention; and Delegate authority to the County Administrator to sign the agreement and any subsequent amendments within budgeted appropriations.
The second contract with the Contra Costa Family Justice Alliance (CCFJA) not to exceed amount of $1,031,200 and administered through he Solano Family Justice Center (SFJC) from January next year through June 30, 2024 Approved a $263,642 Appropriation Transfer Request to fund FY2022/23 program operations.
In their third key decision to address the scourge of violence a second contract amendment with Alliance for HOPE International to extend the contract to June 30, 2023 with no change in the contract amount of $55,845 for Consulting, Planning, and Technical Assistance related to the Solano Family Justice Center was approved.
At their December 13 Parley County Supervisors Adopt a resolution as well that acknowledged a California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) grant on behalf of the Office of Family Violence Prevention for the County Victim Services Program (XC) in the amount of $309,488 in Victim of Crimes Act funding and match requirement from January through December 31, 2023.
Other important decisions at the December 13 session included approval of the appointment of Donnie Patchin as Trustee of Reclamation District №2136 for a term to expire at noon on December 1, 2023 and approve the appointments of Kenneth Puccini, John Putnam, and Lorenzo Bavoso as Trustees of Reclamation District №2136 for terms to expire at noon on December 5, 2025.
