Oh, You’re Looking For Some New Talent?
I’d love to join your team
This moment, right here and now, as you are reading these words, is what I love most about the internet. The power of one stranger to reach out and connect with another. I know we haven’t met (yet) but hey, I instantly like anyone that takes the time to read what I write:). Just thought you should know that.
Okay, Um, So Who Are You Exactly?
I’m Ben. I’m a human, so I’ve got layers.
In a nutshell, I’m a product management guy. My mom might call me a voracious reader and I take that as a high compliment. But really I’m deeply motivated and interested in bringing useful, important things of all kinds into this world. I’ve jumped into quite a few projects over the last few years and I’m grateful to have been a part of all of them.
My narrative isn’t as linear as some of my peers and I like to think that’s a good thing.
While in school at nights (Business and Product Management Major Dec. ’16) @CUNY, I’ve done numerous things.
And yes, I’ve taken jobs that ended up going nowhere.
In short, I’ve lived.
OK…Cute, But What’s Your Point?
I’m looking for a real opportunity to join a great team and add value by utilizing my strengths.
I’ve written this letter because traditional methods of job hunting suck. (Which, incidentally, is a problem I’ve been thinking about deeply and would love to solve). I’m ready willing and able and I can be doing so much more than spending hours sending resumes into the inter-web abyss.
I could bore you with details and try to convince you to hire me right here and now, but lets face it. You’ve probably got some Facebook procrastinating to get back to right about now. So I’ll leave the details to our meeting.
So let me be succinct and to the point. If you think I can help you and your organization achieve your mission, lets talk.
I'll follow up with you. Just share the best email to reach you at.powered.by.rabbut.com
Oh, and if you happen to be a wonderful human who enjoys helping out strangers on the internet for no reason, feel free to share this. If you do, all I can say is:
