A brand new name. A brand new brand identity. A brand new brand.

I remember back in July 2013 when I first approached Eli Ortiz with an idea to set up a digital marketing agency; focusing heavily on social media. Having never owned her own business before, she told me I was crazy a number of times as I reeled off my semi-inspirational speech whilst trying to scope if or if not she would be willing and ready to take a plunge into the deep end. I relayed my recently-discovered findings about how US companies were taking social media marketing seriously, how everything was measurable and how, in Spain, people were still counting the number of page likes they had, which meant nothing. We knew that, in Spain, we would not only have to sell our services to potential clients, but that we would also have to educate them on the power of social media and that allocating a marketing budget would not be a cost but, in fact, an investment.

“Be where your customer are! That makes sense, right?! We need to place our brands amongst their potential consumers! And everyone spends most of their online time on social media! Let’s do this, Eli! Let’s create and join conversations!”

So ZOOM PR was born and began to generate ideas and implementation strategies in the digital space. With our social-first mentality, we began to spend half our time listening to consumers to fully understand a sentiment towards a brand so we could adapt our communication accordingly. PR wasn’t core to our offerings initially and was only up-sold to our existing clients and this caused confusion as to what we actually did.

But you’re not a PR agency?

We are more than that. Our expertise goes beyond and after 3 years of building, inevitably making mistakes and learning from them, we arrived to where we are today; an ever-evolving digital communication agency who has to react and adapt to our fast-changing landscape. We’ve gone from simply immersing a brand amongst their customers to creating digital journeys for future customers based on demographics, interests and browsing habits.

Armed with our newfound knowledge of the social and digital marketing world, we decided to overhaul our branding; enabling us to take the next step and compete against some of the biggest agencies out there with an array of complimentary services that give us a full understanding of how different marketing efforts are linked and, more importantly, better control of the consumer’s digital journey.

So ZOOM PR becomes The Zoom Agency. And we move forward at our fastest-ever pace in creating digital journeys for your future consumers.
