An emergency visa to India from UK can be obtained since it comes under the list of eligible countries for an urgent visa to India. The emergency visa is issued only in cases of emergency like death or serious illness of family member (blood relation) subject to production of documentary evidence like death/hospital certificate duly signed and stamped. In the case of Non-UK citizens for less than 2 years and Pakistani nationals/Pakistani origin applicants, a reference is required to be made to the concerned authorities. So, the facility of same day Urgent/Emergency Visa is not available to them.
