My pagan soul will find release. And I will strut like Socrates.

MEW-ZED Springs of Fire

By BEN TINSLEY

One day I will fly to Greece
And drink from mused springs of fire.

My pagan soul will find release.
I’ll shed archaic thoughts of peace
There’s be no shelter from desire.

One Day I will fly to Greece,
And there I’ll strut like Socrates,
 Naked on the funeral pyre.

My pagan soul will find release.
 All repressions will then cease.
I’ll sing in the celestial choir.

One day I will fly to Greece
I’ll toddle with a flock of geese.
Then rut and roll like a pig in mire.

My pagan soul will find release
In a safe place that has no police
And no changed minds to utter, “Liar!”

One day I will fly to Greece
My pagan soul will find release.
