Great core point in this article. I need to get better at focusing primarily on the process.

But don’t you think the outcome still plays a role, at least in so far as it helps us define what “the process” should look like?

For example, you spoke from your own experience as a writer–shifting your focus from writing success to good writing. But the didn’t the outcome (successful writer) determine the process (hone writing craft)?

You bring up a really important point, but I think maybe the ideal blend of focus should be a mix of outcome and process. What do you think?
